It’s Official: The Mad Reviewer is Attending BEA 2015!

I’m so excited that I feel like bouncing up and down like I’m three years old once again.  I’ve managed to put away enough money that I can say with 95% certainty that I will be attending Book Expo America in New York in May 2015!  I’m planning on attending the Bloggers Conference for the first day and then meandering around the convention for the second and third days.  There will be meet-ups (hopefully) with any of you that want to meet in the flesh and I’ll also be taking a little time to actually experience New York.  I desperately want to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and watch either (or both) tapings for Last Week Tonight and The Daily Show.

Are any of you guys attending BEA 2015?  If not, would you ever attend a convention like that?  Why or why not?

Hope your 95% confidence hits 100%!

I’ve not heard about Book Expo America (but I’m painfully uninformed…) hope you have a great time in 2015, and get to be in the audience for both Oliver and Stewart

Thanks Patrick! That 5% doubt will disappear once registration for the conference itself is open so I can book my hotel room and plane ticket. Other than that, unless something of Shakespearean tragedy proportions happens, I’m going! 🙂

That’s so true and that’s part of the reason why I didn’t go these past two years (other than the financial reasons). I wanted to actually have my act together and have a decent following before attending so I could really experience and appreciate BEA.

As long as nothing major changes in my employment situation, I’ll definitely be going. I went this year and in 2012, and both times were overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Wanted to go to the Thriller Fest in NYC last year but life had another plan for me. This sounds great, would love to attend. Need to win the lotto first ;D
