Posting for 20four12
Today it’s my turn to guest post for Caleb over at 20four12, so I reviewed Empty by Suzanne Weyn. Have you ever read a book that had an amazing premise and just fell flat on its face? Well, then you’ll be able to sympathize with my reading experience. To see the great premise in question, head on over to 20four12! And while you’re over there, you should check out Caleb’s other reviews and add some more books to your science fiction lists.
Posting for 20four12
I swear guys, I really am guest posting today!
Anyway, today I guest posted over at 20four12, reviewing a book that had I bothered to look at the author’s name, I never would have picked up. However, I’m glad I was lazy because I found a very good book from an author that has improved vastly since his first book. So if I’ve piqued your curiosity, feel free to go read my review of Beyonders: A World Without Heroes by Brandon Mull. I promise there are no gigantic cow milking scenes in this one.
World War Z by Max Brooks
Today it’s my turn to guest post for Caleb Flanagan over at 20four12, so I reviewed a book I read on my plane when I was travelling: World War Z by Max Brooks. It was small enough to fit in my carry-on laptop, but long enough so that I wouldn’t finish it halfway through the flight. So what did I think of World War Z? Go on and check it out!
20four12: Fablehaven by Brandon Mull
This week it’s my turn to post over at 20four12 so I reviewed Fablehaven by Brett Mull, a book that I borrowed from a good friend of mine. It is one of her favourite books, but to see my thoughts on it, head on over to 20four12! And while you’re over there you should check out the rest of Caleb’s site for your daily recommended dosage of science fiction.
At 20four12 Today
Well, by the time you’re reading this I’m on the road travelling, but for posting purposes today I’m posting at 20four12. I went outside Caleb’s usual reviewing material and chose to review Fairest by Gail Carson Levine, a great story for young girls who are struggling with their self-esteem. It’s also a great story for older girls and women who struggle with their body-image. So go on over and check it out! While you’re at it, check out what Caleb usually reviews. He has read more science fiction in one year than I will likely ever read!
